I’m a cross-platform creative director with a profound belief in leveraging the power of storytelling-through-design to help brands to find their voice and build the connections that will surprise, engage, and activate their audiences. I have extensive experience in a diverse array of content sectors including entrepreneurship, luxury, lifestyle, food, luxury, architecture, nonprofit, and sustainable existence.

I’ve concepted and executed campaigns and identity systems that live across multiple channels from the entire digital spectrum to events, print, experiential, and beyond. I’ve built and led award-winning, industry-leading teams and have always sought to learn as much from my creative collaborators as I try to impart.

From high-concept territory to hands-on making, I embrace the opportunity to create products and experiences that spark dialogue, connect and empower people, and drive positive business results.

As the Design Director of Fast Company Media, I was responsible for the development of Fast Company’s visual brand identity and the extension of it throughout all media forms: editorial (print and digital), events, and consumer marketing—as well as day-to-day creative team management.

In this role I have had an increasing focus on the creation of initiatives to generate revenue opportunities via custom content and partner sponsorships.

From 2011 to 2017, the Fast Company creative team won six Gold Medals and nine Silver Medals from the Society of Publication Designers. Gold Medals include wins for the 2011 Redesign of the Year and the 2013 Brand of the Year. We have also been nominated for the 2012 Magazine of the Year, the 2012 Tablet App of the Year, and 2016 App of the Year.

In 2014, Fast Company won the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) National Magazine Award for Magazine of the Year —the industry's highest honor—which awards a brand for its magazine, website, apps, and brand extensions.

I was previously Art Director at O Magazine, GreenSource: The Magazine of Sustainable Design, and (once upon a time) The Village Voice.
